Medicine Making Workshops/Plant ID Walks

For individuals and small groups up to 5 people (please note rates do increase with larger groups – please see below). Correne is able to both host at her homestead in Glenarm and/or drive to locations in central Kawartha Lakes and north Durham Regions for both workshops and plant ID walks. Options for further distances are available. Please contact Correne for more details.

Plant walks include learning how to identify and ethically forage in the wild, as well as medicinal information about the herbs (how they are used and why).

Workshop topics can include but are not limited to:

  • Tinctures
  • Infused Oils
  • Salve Making
  • Infused Vinegars
  • Flower Essences
  • Tea Blending
  • Fermentation
  • Canning and Food Preparation

Student will leave with a PDF guide containing all of the information they need to make remedies in the future as well as hands on experience and knowledge.

Cost:

  • $50/hour for up to 5 participants (plus HST)
  • $65/hour for groups with more than 5 participants (plus HST)
